NCB Education Call Scheduled for May 27

May 22, 2008 by Mobility Management

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will host a May 27 conference call to educate stakeholders – including DME suppliers, clinicians and physicians – about the DME national competitive bidding program (NCB), scheduled to be implemented in the first 10 competitive bidding areas on July 1.

The conference call on Tuesday, May 27, will run from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight time. Participants need to pre-register to receive the call-in information (register by clicking HERE).

Registration will close at 1 p.m. EDT on Monday, May 26, or when available space is filled. Registration serves to reserve a phone line; if more than one person will be listening in using that one phone line, only one registration is needed.

After the call is completed, an audio recording will be available starting at 4 p.m. EDT and expiring at the end of June 4. To hear the recording, dial (800) 642-1687, and use passcode 47261135.
