From its creation in 2002, Mobility Management has focused exclusively on mobility and rehab home medical equipment. But as MM was getting ready to turn the big “5,” we conducted an informal poll of mobility and rehab suppliers to ask if there was any product category we should add to our editorial mix.
The answer: urological supplies.
Of course, catheters, bags and accessories are not mobility equipment in the strictest sense of the term. But because large numbers of wheelchair users need urological supplies, providing the equipment makes financial sense for rehab technology suppliers and coMMon sense for clients who enjoy the convenience factor.
So check out our April issue, which will include MM‘s first-ever urological supplies product marketplace. We’ll also cover urological supplies in our MMBeat and New Products sections, as warranted. Stay tuned!
