Next Unite4CRT Town Hall Meeting Is Feb. 23

The next Unite4CRT Town Hall Meeting is scheduled for Tues., Feb. 23, starting at 7 p.m. Eastern.

The topic is “Words Matter: Language in the Wheelchair Community.” The event will feature a panel discussion with Jen and Codi Mendenhall, Jenny Siegle, Ben Huntzinger, and Molly Hale.

Future virtual Town Hall Meetings are scheduled for Tues., March 23 (Adaptive Sports: Games People Play); Tues., April 20 (Champions Place); and Tues., May 25 (Travel and Accessibility: Cory’s Fabulous Adventures). All of the meetings begin at 7 p.m. Eastern time.

During the pandemic, the Unite4CRT meetings have brought Complex Rehab Technology consumers, professionals, and other stakeholders together at a time when the usual face-to-face meetings aren’t possible.

Past topics have included using assistive technology in everyday activities; managing caregiver teams; becoming a consumer advocate; and surviving the holidays in a time of COVID-19.
