National Government Services (NGS), the Jurisdiction B DME MAC, will be shutting down its clinical education telephone line and e-mailbox on August 1.
In a bulletin to stakeholders, NGS said written correspondence and inquiries regarding clinical education can be submitted online from Aug. 1, using the Customer Care Online Inquiry Form (click HERE to access the form).
Online visitors using the form should not include Medicare numbers, Social Security numbers, personal or beneficiary medical information or other confidential information to ensure that health information remains protected.
NGS indicated that they will respond via phone call or in writing within 45 days of receiving a completed form.
In August, the clinical education phone number will be discontinued. Suppliers can call NGS’ interactive voice response system at (877) 299-7900 or NGS’ toll-free number: (866) 590-6727.
