NHIC Corp., Medicare’s Jurisdiction A DME MAC, is expanding its NHIC Live Line program.
During Web-based Live Line sessions, attendees can chat with NHIC representatives; those general sessions take place every Monday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Eastern time. Now, NHIC is rolling out additional Thursday sessions from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Eastern time to focus on specific topics of interest to Medicare suppliers.
Previously scheduled subjects have included Comprehensive Error Rate Testing, hospital beds and support surfaces, and orthotics and prosthetics. The topic for Dec. 11 is mobility, including canes, crutches, walkers and wheelchairs. During Thursday sessions, NHIC reps will only field questions on the topic of the day.
