NPIAP Call for 2021 Abstracts Is Open

October 14, 2020 by Laurie Watanabe

The National Pressure Injury Advisory Panel (NPIAP) is calling for abstracts related to pressure injury research.

The poster presentations will be part of the NPIAP Annual Conference, taking place virtually March 10-12, 2021.

Presentations can be submitted in the following categories: pressure injury clinical research; bench/laboratory research; case studies/case series; clinical practice guideline implementation via quality improvement; evidence-based practice; and educational strategies.

Evaluators’ scores will also determine award winners in the Student, Young Investigator (with five years of degree), Best Overall, and Charlie Lachenbruch Award (for industry members whose poster demonstrates a contribution to pressure injury prevention and treatment) categories.

Four posters are typically also accepted as oral presentations.

The poster abstract submission deadline is Nov. 2, 2020. Acceptance notifications will be sent by Dec. 11, 2020.

For more information on the submission process, visit the NPIAP Web site: https://npiap.com/page/Abstracts2021.
