NRRTS Taps Margolis as Executive Director

January 1, 2007 by Mobility Management

The Board of Directors of the National Registry of Rehabilitation Technology Suppliers (NRRTS) announced that Simon Margolis has assumed the role of executive director of the organization.

“NRRTS is very pleased to have Simon onboard,” says Mike Seidel, NRRTS president. “He has the knowledge, experience and passion to lead NRRTS through the potentially tough times and equally great opportunities facing our industry and profession.”
Margolis has 30 years of experience in the field of complex rehab seating and wheeled mobility. He was a founding board member and past-president of NRRTS. He also has served the industry as president of the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA) and as an executive committee member and founding member of the National Coalition for Assistive and Rehab Technology (NCART). Margolis comes to NRRTS directly from his seven-year tenure as VP for clinical and professional development for Tennessee-based National Seating and Mobility, Inc.

“I am extremely happy to be back home at NRRTS,” Margolis said. “NRRTS registrants are among the most knowledgeable, caring and compassionate in our industry and profession. It is a privilege for me to serve as their executive director.”
