National Seating & Mobility (NSM) has acquired Able Mobility Center of Oakdale, Pa.
In a news announcement, NSM said its new office would remain at its 7857 Steubenville Pike location.
Going forward, the office will be known as NSM Pittsburgh, and it will serve clients in the Three Rivers region.
“Able Mobility Center proudly served the Tri-State beginning in 1996,” said Pittsburgh Branch Manager Marci Kennedy. “We were known as the ‘friendly mobility store’ and always considered the client the most important part of our job. We look forward to continuing our mission of being efficient and providing people with access to the latest rehab equipment with NSM.”
Able Mobility Center’s seven complex rehab technology professionals, two of whom are Certified Rehab Technology Suppliers, will go on to staff NSM’s new Pittsburgh location. The news release noted that the team has a combined total of 36 years of complex rehab experience.
