NSM Adds Home Accessibility Locations in Missouri & New York

December 16, 2019 by Laurie Watanabe

National Seating & Mobility (NSM) has expanded again, this time with its home accessibility division.

In a Dec. 11 news announcement, NSM said it had acquired Promise HomeWorks in St. Louis, and Hart Medical Design in Buffalo, N.Y. The two businesses provide home accessibility products and also perform home modifications.

Both businesses were owned by Charlie Felker, who will now manage NSM’s Veterans Affairs relationships and serve as Director of Business Development for NSM’s rapidly growing home accessibility division. Felker is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and a decorated combat veteran.

Bill Mixon, NSM’s CEO, said of the acquisitions, “These new branches position us to bring NSM’s full scope of solutions to more individuals who need them. We’re pleased to serve as a trusted resource for home accessibility needs in these two substantial markets.”

NSM’s AccessNSM home accessibility division provides equipment such as home ramps, stairlifts and vehicle lifts. The accessibility division currently has more than 50 locations in the United States. As a complex rehab technology provider, NSM has locations in the U.S. and Canada.
