National Seating & Mobility (NSM) has acquired Functional Mobility Systems, based in Baton Rouge, La.
Functional Mobility Systems was owned by ATPs Mark Tucker and Sean Reed, who are transitioning to NSM and will continue to serve clients in the Baton Rouge office. The company specialized in pediatric seating and mobility.
In a news announcement, NSM described Functional Mobility Systems as “the largest provider of complex rehab therapy services for the pediatric population in southeast Louisiana.”
NSM CEO Bill Mixon said in the announcement, “This partnership brings additional pediatric care experts and respected industry veterans to our growing team. We look forward to partnering with physicians and therapists across Louisiana to provide innovative mobility and accessibility solutions to those who need them.”
