NSM Announces Two Promotions

September 6, 2017 by Laurie Watanabe

National Seating & Mobility (NSM) has announced a pair of promotions within its leadership team.

Charles Sargeant is NSM’s new senior VP of funding operations. Katie Stevens has been promoted to regional VP, replacing Sargeant.

In his new role, Sargeant “will oversee the company’s investments in technology enhancements, processor training and development and career paths,” NSM said in a news announcement.

John Bertone, SVP of field operations for NSM, said, “Processing function is a critically important discipline to our business. Charles has consistently delivered strong results on behalf of the company in previous roles. I am confident his background and experience will serve us well in this new role.”

Previously, Sargeant was NSM’s regional VP of the western United States, a role that Stevens now takes over.

Bertone said, “Katie’s experience with the company gives her a strong appreciation for our branch positions. We look forward to having her bring the passion she’s exuded for the company for more than a decade to this leadership role.”

NSM continues to grow as a national complex rehab provider. Last month, the company announced it had acquired the CRT divisions of Wright & Filippis, as well as Alabama Wheelchair Specialists.
