National Seating & Mobility (NSM) has named a new CEO.
In a Nov. 29 announcement, NSM said Crispin Teufel will take over as CEO. Chuck Bodner, who has served as NSM’s interim CEO since July, will continue in his role as CFO, the announcement added.
Teufel most recently was the CEO for Lincare, a position he held for five years. Prior to that, Teufel was Lincare’s CFO and also worked in a number of roles for The Linde Group, Lincare’s parent company.
As a national provider, Lincare offers a variety of respiratory services to approximately 1.8 million patients in their homes. The company also provides wound care, cardiac monitoring, and enteral nutrition services.
In the news announcement, Brady Shirley, NSM’s Chairman of the Board, said, “The NSM Board of Directors is pleased to appoint Crispin Teufel as CEO. Crispin is a transformational leader whose extensive background in the DME [durable medical equipment] industry, strong experience and proven track record position him to guide the mission and future growth of NSM.”
“I am honored to take on the role of CEO at NSM,” Teufel said in the announcement. “The passion and perseverance of the NSM team is evidenced by the company’s continued success. I am proud to support the NSM team in further advancing the experience and quality outcomes for clients who rely on mobility and accessibility solutions.”
