For the third year in a row, National Seating & Mobility (NSM) has earned a Top Workplaces award from The Tennessean, a Nashville-based newspaper.
The Top Workplaces awards program is based on anonymous employee feedback collected by a third-party employee engagement technology company. Employees complete surveys that measure such workplace culture factors as alignment, coaching, connection, engagement, leadership, performance, compensation, benefits, and flexibility.
Bill Mixon, NSM’s CEO, said in a news announcement, “As reflected in our core values, NSM team members consistently have our clients’ best interests at heart. Despite serving some of the most vulnerable population throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, our team continued to work seamlessly to ensure mobility and accessibility needs were met for our clients. It is an honor to be named a Top Workplace in Middle Tennessee for the third year, a recognition that celebrates our growing team and the culture we strive to keep.”
Eric Rubino, CEO of Energage, the company that collects data for the Top Workplaces program, said, “During this very challenging time, Top Workplaces has proven to be a beacon of light for organizations, as well as a sign of resiliency and strong business performance. When you give your employees a voice, you come together to navigate challenges and shape your path forward. Top Workplaces draw on real-time insights into what works best for their organization, so they can make informed decisions that have a positive impact on their people and their business.”
NSM currently has 182 office locations throughout the United States and Canada. Seventy employees work in NSM’s Franklin, Tenn., corporate office and Middle Tennessee-area offices, while 250 employees work in the Chattanooga, Tenn., operations center and branch.
