NSM Opens New Office in Mississippi

March 9, 2022 by Laurie Watanabe

National Seating & Mobility (NSM) is expanding in Mississippi by opening a new office in Hattiesburg.

In a news announcement, NSM said the new location will be headed by Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) veteran David Gurganus, ATP.

Gurganus, who earned his ATP certification in 2013, has worked in the CRT industry since 2004.

Bill Mixon, NSM’s CEO, said in the March 7 announcement, “Strategically growing our footprint allows us to ensure more people have access to the most advanced mobility and access solutions available. We are excited to partner with individuals in and around Hattiesburg as they pursue greater independence, and are proud to welcome David to the NSM team.”

Gurganus likened his experiences as a college athlete to his new position. “Playing college baseball taught me about teamwork,” he said. “Every player has to be ready and willing to do their job at above-average rates to be successful. Those same principles can be applied to the CRT world.”

The announcement added that the new branch “will prioritize clients and high-quality service, providing a wide range of mobility solutions designed to support greater independence. Gurganus and his team will also emphasize education, ensuring clients, caregivers and healthcare providers understand the value of CRT equipment and their options.”
