NSM Partners with AGS Health for Revenue Cycle Management

March 8, 2023 by Laurie Watanabe

National Seating & Mobility (NSM) has a new strategic partner related to revenue cycle management.

In a Feb. 23 news announcement, NSM said it’s signed an agreement with AGS Health, described as “a strategic partner to perform the revenue cycle management administrative operations related to funding, billing and collections.”

NSM said the new collaboration “is expected to maximize NSM’s revenue cycle performance through continuous process- and tech-enabled productivity improvements, while improving quality and cycle times for clients.”

Going forward, NSM said AGS Health will be handling “most of the administrative tasks related to funding, billing and collections,” while NSM “will continue to oversee and strategically guide revenue cycle operations and handle all customer interactions with clients and referral sources.”

NSM’s CEO, Bill Mixon, said in the announcement, “We are continually looking for new and different ways to advance our operations and better serve our clients, including through external partnerships like AGS.

“AGS has more than a decade of industry-leading experience helping healthcare providers nationwide improve the performance of their revenue cycle. The company offers a variety of services and solutions with specialized staff, highly efficient processes and advanced technologies. Their experience and excellent reputation, teamed with core values and culture that closely align with ours, led us to select AGS as NSM’s revenue-cycle partner.”

Mixon acknowledged that some NSM employees were affected by the new AGS partnership and said, “To that end, we have been working with several external organizations to provide the support and resources needed to help those impacted.”
