National Seating & Mobility (NSM) once again helped to make the Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival in Franklin, Tenn., more inclusive and accessible.
In an Oct. 2 news announcement, NSM said it was the official Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) sponsor for the event for the fourth consecutive year. The festival is based in NSM’s corporate hometown, and the Complex Rehab Technology and accessibility provider has repeatedly sponsored accessible viewing platforms for guests with disabilities.
NSM staffers hosted the platforms and distributed complimentary water bottles. The news announcement noted that the Festival set a new weekend attendance record.
Chuck Bodner, NSM’s interim CEO, said in the announcement, “The Pilgrimage Festival is an incredible opportunity in our corporate headquarters’ hometown to support individuals with disabilities who travel from all over to hear their favorite artists. We are proud to have served as the festival’s official ADA sponsor for the fourth year and are always excited to do our part in ensuring that our platform guests have the opportunity to see and enjoy the diverse lineup of talent throughout the weekend.”
Headliners on the Festival’s five stages included The Lumineers, Zach Bryan, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, The Black Crowes, and The Head and the Heart.
