NSM Teams with BraunAbility to Educate Consumers on Vehicle Accessibility

October 28, 2019 by Laurie Watanabe

A new partnership between National Seating & Mobility (NSM) and BraunAbility will make it easier for wheelchair users to learn about accessible vehicle choices.

In October, a new BraunAbility kiosk was installed in NSM’s Houston branch office. NSM’s team was also educated on BraunAbility’s accessible offerings. In a news announcement, NSM said, “The interactive kiosk is designed to educate NSM clients about accessible vehicle options and provide them the opportunity to connect with their local BraunAbility dealership for a thorough mobility consultation.”

Additional kiosks will be installed in other NSM offices in November.

NSM CEO Bill Mixon said of the new venture, “NSM is always seeking partnerships and innovations designed to enhance the lives of our clients. BraunAbility shares both our mission of empowerment and a national footprint that allows us to introduce these resources to our clients across the country.”

“Both NSM and BraunAbility are committed to empowering the lives of individuals with physical disabilities through mobility solutions,” said Staci Kroon, BraunAbility CEO, in the news announcement. “This collaborative partnership allows us to educate more individuals about the automotive mobility options available to further their independence.”

BraunAbility’s product lines include wheelchair-accessible vehicles, wheelchair lifts, and wheelchair securement systems.
