NSM to Be ADA Sponsor of Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival

August 4, 2022 by Laurie Watanabe

National Seating & Mobility (NSM) is again supporting Pilgrimage Festival attendees with disabilities.

A viewing platform with a ramp and NSM signage is on green grass in front of an outdoor concert stage. The sun is shining in a blue sky.

For the Sept. 24-25 concert event, NSM is the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) sponsor. That sponsorship includes support for the accessible viewing platforms at the two main Pilgrimage stages. NSM will also supply complementary water bottles for those viewing the event from the accessible platforms.

Bill Mixon, NSM’s CEO, said in an Aug. 3 news announcement, “We are proud to serve as the official ADA sponsor of the Pilgrimage Festival again this year. Ensuring that events like this one are accessible to all guests is imperative, and we are pleased to provide support to ensure that this incredible event is welcoming to everyone.”

Brandt Wood, the Festival’s co-founder, added, “We are so grateful for the continued partnership with NSM that helps to create an accessible and enjoyable experience for all. Pilgrimage Festival aims to bring the entire community together around music, and sponsorships like this one make that possible.”

Pilgrimage Festival headliners include Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlisle, Jon Batiste, The Avett Brothers, and Elle King. More than 50 acts will take place across five festival stages during the weekend.
