Numotion has expanded its midwestern presence by acquiring the complex rehab technology (CRT) and home accessibility divisions of Total Respiratory & Rehab.
Total Respiratory & Rehab, which has been in business for more than 12 years, has six locations: Belmond, Hiawatha, and Urbandale, Iowa; Camdenton, Mo.; and Lincoln and Omaha, Neb.
As part of the deal, 74 CRT and accessibility employees from Total Respiratory & Rehab will join Numotion. That includes 17 Assistive Technology Professionals (ATPs).
Numotion CEO Mike Swinford said in a Sept. 4 news announcement, “We are excited to welcome the impressive CRT and home access teams of Total Respiratory & Rehab to Numotion in order to better serve even more customers in the Midwest. Total’s reach and dedicated team of employees, coupled with our unmatched product portfolio and service capabilities, provide the disabled community in the region with the best resources available.”
The addition of the home accessibility employees, the news announcement noted, means that Numotion clients in the area could also take advantage of such accessibility services as ramp installations and door widening.
Jon Novak, Total Respiratory & Rehab’s CEO, said, “We are thrilled to announce that our rehab and home access divisions have been acquired by Numotion. Numotion was the best choice for us, no question. Their employee-supportive culture and customer-centric focus parallels with our business seamlessly. Numotion’s infrastructure and technologies will ensure our customers have the absolute best and most rapid customer service experience the industry has to offer.”
Numotion currently has more than 140 locations across the country.
