Numotion’s Milwaukee Office Wins Community Service Award

November 15, 2013 by Laurie Watanabe

The Milwaukee office of Numotion has been recognized by the National Spinal Cord Injury Association (NSCIA) for its community service efforts.

The award was presented during the annual picnic held by the NSCIA’s southeastern Wisconsin chapter.

Numotion staffers Sarah Sims, Ventrice Stewart, Tonia Caudie, Francisco Rodriguez, Tom Bodanske, Jennie Bodanske and Mike Hetland attended the picnic and operated a free wheelchair wash for event attendees. The Numotion crew was also on hand to accept NSCIA’s award for exceptional volunteerism and corporate sponsorship.

“Our team has been partnering with NSCIA for the past two years,” says Hetland, who is the Numotion Milwaukee branch service manager and an NSCIA board member. “Our relationships with the board members and each member are invaluable to us. The team attends several functions throughout the year, including the NSCIA Wheels and Heels Rush on Festa event at Festa Italiana. It is a rewarding partnership that we are looking forward to continuing throughout the years.”

The Milwaukee Numotion office was also given an NSCIA award last year for “invaluable hours of community service.”
