Three organizations that focus on pressure injuries — the National Pressure Injury Advisory Panel (NPIAP), the European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (EPUAP), and the Pan Pacific Pressure Injury Alliance (PPPIA) — are asking for stakeholder input on the guideline for the prevention and treatment of pressure injuries.
The survey “is designed to collect information about the stakeholder opinion on the content of the next guideline version,” according to an announcement. Among the survey questions is how the survey participant would use the guideline, questions the participant would like answered, and important details that the participant would use in deciding on pressure injury treatment.
The organizations are asking for participation from patients, families, healthcare providers, researchers, industry members, “and anyone who shares our goal of bringing evidence-based recommendations to the bedside to improve pressure ulcer/injury prevention and treatment worldwide.”
