Pressure Ulcer Research Series Now Available As PDF

April 6, 2015 by Laurie Watanabe

Last year’s three-part research series on pressure ulcers and deep-tissue injuries is now available as a single pdf download from Mobility Management.

The summer series featured the work of Amit Gefen, Ph.D., biomedical engineering professor at Tel Aviv University. Drawing from his engineering background, Gefen used laboratory-grown tissue samples and computer extrapolation to study how, why and when pressure damages tissues inside the body, where such injuries can be difficult or impossible to detect and observe.

In the summer of 2015, Mobility Management will start a second pressure ulcer series featuring new research that builds upon the studies Gefen discussed last year.

This research pdf is sponsored by ROHO Inc.
