Pride Mobility’s summer of scooter launches continues.
In an Aug. 21 news announcement, the manufacturer introduced the Baja Bandit, the newest member of the Baja Mobility line. Shipping of the Baja Bandit will start Aug. 28.
The Bandit joins the Wrangler 2, Raptor 2 3-Wheel, and Raptor 2 4-Wheel scooters in the Baja Mobility line.
The Baja Bandit has a maximum speed of 8 mph, with a weight capacity of 400 lbs. The Bandit is a power mobility device (K0899) not coded by the PDAC.
The Bandit is 49.6 inches long and 27.83 inches wide, with a seat-to-deck height of 18.11 inches and 9-inch solid front and rear tires.
Pride describes the Bandit’s seating as a stadium seat with slider, with black vinyl upholstery. The seat width is 18.31 inches, and the seat depth is 17.32 inches.
Its range per charge with a 20Ah battery pack is up to 14.5 miles with a 220-lb. passenger weight; or up to 11.25 miles with a 400-lb. passenger weight. With a 40Ah battery pack, the range per charge is 29 miles with a passenger weight of 220 lbs. or up to 22.5 miles with a passenger weight of 400 lbs.
The total weight of the Bandit is 183.4 lbs. (with a 20Ah battery pack) or 197.8 lbs. (with a 40Ah battery pack).
Other features include an infinite-adjustment tiller lever, a full LED lighting package for maximum visibility, a standard full bumper package, a supplemental hand brake for additional stopping power, feather-touch disassembly, and a seat post with full suspension.
Accessories include a 3-inch single or double cane/crutch holder, lap belt, cup holder, cell phone holder, forearm crutch holder, military patches, oxygen equipment holder, quad cane holder, rear basket, rearview mirror, saddlebag, safety flag, walker holder, weather cover, and a wishbone crutch holder.
The Baja Bandit is available in sage or tan.
