The Duryea, Pennsylvania-based manufacturer introduced the Go-Go Carbon in an Aug. 27 news announcement. Weighing just 35 lbs. without its airline-compliant lithium battery, the four-wheeled scooter has a weight capacity of 300 lbs. with a top speed of 3.7 mph.

The scooter easily folds into a compact profile to fit into car trunks and other small spaces. The Go-Go Carbon uses Near Field Communication technology: The scooter can be started with just a quick tap of its key fob, which provides enhanced security for the device.

The Carbon features a full carbon fiber frame, rims and telescoping tiller; non-scuffing, flat-free tires; and a removable seat back and base to facilitate cleaning. The scooter has a 10-mile battery range.

The scooter is 17.5 inches wide and 40.3 inches long, with a turning radius of 53 inches. Its seat is 14 inches wide and 11.5 inches deep, with a seat-to-floor of 21.75 inches.
