December 10, 2024 by Laurie Watanabe

The Jazzy Ultra Light travel power chair with black framePride Mobility’s newest transportable power wheelchair weighs just 33 lbs. without its battery.

The foldable Jazzy Ultra Light has an all carbon-fiber frame “durable enough to withstand all your customers’ travels, but light enough to make every trip a cool breeze, whether through airports, on cruise ships, or just around the block,” Pride said in a Nov. 22 press release. “It takes just seconds for the Jazzy Ultra Light to fold, and with an audible click, you can be assured the unit is locked into position for transport and storage.”

The new power chair features a mesh back and seat with a standard cushion, and a programmable joystick controller that can attach to either armrest. An airline-compliant 10Ah lithium battery is standard; an optional 20Ah battery is also available. The chair has a 300-lb. weight capacity, and a 16.4-mile range using the 20Ah battery at 200 lbs.

The Jazzy Ultra Light’s front suspension provides a smooth ride over various types of terrain. Rear lights illuminate when the chair is in motion. A mesh cup holder comes standard; options include a headrest and an attendant control bracket bundle.

The Jazzy Ultra Light now joins the Jazzy Carbon, the Go Chair MED, and the Go Chair in Pride’s family of travel power chairs.
