Pride Mobility Reports Strong Retail PWC Sales

January 26, 2017 by Laurie Watanabe

Pride Mobility Products has reported strong retail power wheelchair sales, specifically with its new Jazzy Air and Go-Chair models.

Both chairs are designed for retail purchase, and in a Jan. 18 press release, the manufacturer announced that both models have surpassed the 1,000-unit mark in sales.

“Both the Jazzy Air and Go-Chair were launched in 2016 as key provider revenue products for the retail space,” said Micah Swick, director of Pride sales, in the news announcement. “The Jazzy Air, for example, has already generated $4 million in sales, and $1.6 million in provider profit in just 10 months. These checkbook-friendly products prove a huge revenue generator for providers and a testimony to the vast potential within the retail market.”

Swick added, “For 2017, we’re building upon this momentum, and providers should embrace the opportunities in retail. We feel that any provider not in this space is missing a vast revenue stream. For this year, we’re supporting retail providers with a big digital marketing push focused on driving greater consumer demand for these high-revenue products.”

The mid-wheel-drive Jazzy Air provides 10 inches of power adjustable seat height in 16 seconds while enabling its user to drive up to 3.5 mph while elevated (and up to 4 mph non-elevated).

The re-engineered Go-Chair features feather-touch disassembly, and increased weight capacity (to 300 lbs.) and all-new styling with a top speed of 3.7 mph. For more information, visit pridemobility.com.
