Side by side views of the back of tension-adjustable back supports for the Züm.Raz Design has introduced new sizing and upholstery options for its Züm mobile shower commode chair.

In a Nov. 19 announcement, Raz Design, based in Toronto, said the Züm can now be ordered with back heights of 15 inches or 17 inches, adding, “Both come with wrap-around, removable arm supports and detachable push handles.”

The Züm can also now be ordered with optional tension-adjustable back upholstery with upholstery retention clips supplied. The retention clips are designed to prevent the upholstery from sagging and can also provide support for a chest belt.

The Züm is available in self-propelled or attendant-propelled designs. Both styles feature folding aluminum frames with a cross-brace design that enables the Züm to fit fully over toilets for optimal alignment with the aperture of the toilet bowl.

Back supports are removable, and arm supports can flip up via an optional lock kit. Seat widths are 18 inches, with depths available from 17 inches to 21 inches. Seats are also available with front or rear access, left or right access, or front bridged. Custom seats are also available.

The Züm lineup includes a large range of arm, foot and leg support accessories; positioning pads; pelvic and chest belts; urine management accessories; and a travel kit, which includes a suitcase, component bags and removable casters. The Züm has a weight capacity of 352 lbs. (160 kg).
