Registration Open for CRT Conference

January 29, 2014 by Laurie Watanabe

The National Coalition for Assistive & Rehab Technology (NCART) and the National Registry for Rehab Technology Suppliers (NRRTS) have begun signing up registrants for the 2014 National Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) Leadership & Advocacy Conference.

The three-day meeting at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, Va., runs April 29 through May 1. It’s divided into three sessions: Leadership Day (April 29), Advocacy Day (April 30) and Capitol Hill Visits Day (May 1).

In announcing the opening of registration, NCART Executive Director Don Clayback said, “The goal of the National CRT Conference is to bring CRT stakeholders together in one place for high value education, networking, and advocacy. The conference allows providers, manufacturers, clinicians, consumers, and others to collectively focus on important CRT issues and activities.”

Separate pricing is available for full-conference attendees and those attending solely to make Capitol Hill visits. Full-conference discounts are also available for multiple attendees from the same company.

Leadership Day will feature “CRT-focused presentations for providers and manufacturers” on topics including healthcare reform trends; financial management best practices; CRT-related revenue opportunities; and using technology and social media.

Advocacy Day – which includes the Medicaid Summit and CELA event – features “funding and advocacy sessions for CRT stakeholders” on topics that include Medicare and Medicaid funding updates; federal and state CRT legislative activities; and lesser-known funding sources. Attendees will also be prepped for upcoming Congressional visits.

Capitol Hill Visits Day includes meetings with members of Congress and their staffs, as well as a debriefing reception that evening.

Attendees can register at ncart.us or nrrts.org.
