Registration Open for ISS 2017

October 12, 2016 by Laurie Watanabe

Registration has opened for the 2017 International Seating Symposium (ISS), scheduled for March in Nashville, Tenn.

The University of Pittsburgh’s Department of Rehabilitation Science & Technology Continuing Education is hosting the educational event at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. Mark Schmeler, Ph.D., OTR/L, ATP, is the course director.

This will be the 33rd edition of the ISS. Pre-conference sessions will take place Feb. 28 and March 1.

In a bulletin announcing the opening of registration, the University of Pittsburgh said it expects more than 2,000 attendees from around the world. They’ll attend more than 150 educational sessions, including pre-symposium workshops, plenary sessions, instructional courses, papers and poster presentations.

The ISS also will feature a 70,000-square foot exhibit hall with more than 100 seating and wheeled mobility manufacturers and service providers.
