Registration has opened for the 2017 International Seating Symposium (ISS), scheduled for March in Nashville, Tenn.
The University of Pittsburgh’s Department of Rehabilitation Science & Technology Continuing Education is hosting the educational event at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. Mark Schmeler, Ph.D., OTR/L, ATP, is the course director.
This will be the 33rd edition of the ISS. Pre-conference sessions will take place Feb. 28 and March 1.
In a bulletin announcing the opening of registration, the University of Pittsburgh said it expects more than 2,000 attendees from around the world. They’ll attend more than 150 educational sessions, including pre-symposium workshops, plenary sessions, instructional courses, papers and poster presentations.
The ISS also will feature a 70,000-square foot exhibit hall with more than 100 seating and wheeled mobility manufacturers and service providers.
