Rehab Medical Expands Into Louisiana

May 3, 2023 by Laurie Watanabe

Rehab Medical has opened for business in Louisiana.

In a May 1 news announcement, the Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) provider said the new office will be headed by Claire Murphy, ATP, who has worked for Rehab Medical in the Gulf Coast region for the last five years, and who was recently promoted to lead the new location.

The new office will house eight employees.

“Rehab Medical is excited to expand into a new state,” said Kevin Gearheart, Rehab Medical’s President, in the announcement. “This allows us the opportunity to bring our mission of improving lives to more people in need of our services. Promoting a key employee into a leadership role ensures that we will hit the ground running.”

The news announcement added that the Louisiana location was just the start of Rehab Medical’s expansion plans this quarter. “The company expanded into Cleveland, Ohio, at the beginning of April and will be finalizing a new Georgia location later this month,” the news release said.

Rehab Medical serves more than 22,000 clients per year and currently has offices in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah. The company is headquartered in Indianapolis.
