The Rehabilitation Engineering & Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA) is looking for volunteers to help shape the organization’s educational future.
The RESNA Education Committee’s primary responsibility “shall be to develop and coordinate the education programs of RESNA,” the organization said in its announcement. These educational opportunities will “contribute to the preparation of professionals and others who deliver quality assistive technology services and support to enhance the lives of persons with disabilities.”
The education committee meets monthly, and the volunteer application asks the applicant to list qualifications, experience, and special skills related to the field of assistive technology, as well as the applicant’s committees of interest.
Some committees require participants to be members of RESNA.
