ROHO Adds Liz Cole to Educational Team

March 8, 2016 by Laurie Watanabe

Industry veteran Elizabeth (Liz) Cole, MSPT, ATP, has been named director of clinical applications for The ROHO Institute for Education.

The announcement was made by Permobil, which acquired ROHO in March 2015.

Cole, who has more than 30 years of experience in complex seating & wheeled mobility, will report to Darren Hammond, MPT, CWS, senior director of The ROHO Institute.

Cole’s responsibilities will include supporting Permobil’s clinical sales team, leading The ROHO Institute’s online education initiative, providing a clinical resource for ROHO’s product development team, and serving as the clinical lead for the manufacturers’ marketing, research and compliance teams.

During her career, Cole has specialized in neuro rehabilitation and spinal cord injuries, along with prescribing assistive technology and durable medical equipment.

“Liz Cole is an exciting addition to our experienced and dynamic team,” said Tom Borcherding, president of ROHO. “Not only is she one of the most well-recognized and respected educators in our industry, her specific knowledge of the business of complex rehab will further complement our breadth of educational offerings. This investment to strengthen our training and education team is a clear indication of Permobil’s commitment to the ROHO legacy of unparalleled clinical knowledge, scientific research and educational resources.”
