SG Homecare Inc., a durable medical equipment and Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) provider, has acquired Western Drug Medical Supply, a move that “unites two industry leaders, creating a platform to dramatically scale a leading force in Southern California’s homecare market.”
In the May news announcement, SG Homecare said the two companies together account for more than $150 million in annual revenue, an expanding workforce that currently comprises more than 500 employees, and “an expansive product portfolio, including durable medical equipment, respiratory solutions, mobility assistance, orthotics and prosthetics, and essential homecare supplies.”
The mission of the Tustin, California-based SG Homecare is “to leave a positive footprint by delivering quality products and services.” The company’s CRT services include power and custom manual wheelchairs, seating and accessories.
“This is a transformative moment for both SG Homecare and Western Drug Medical Supply,” SG Homecare CEO Jay Wendt said in the announcement. “We’re committed to a seamless integration, fostering a powerful platform for growth. By leveraging our combined size and resources, we will significantly expand our reach and ability to serve patients and partners across Southern California.”

SG Homecare has served customers in the durable medical equipment and Complex Rehab Technology industries for more than 20 years. The company has 19 locations in California, including its Tustin headquarters.
