Sunrise Medical Announces SEDEO PRO Seating Upgrade
The improvements involve in the seating system’s power recline actuator.

November 8, 2023 by Laurie Watanabe

Sunrise Medical has announced an upgrade to its SEDEO PRO seating system.

In a Nov. 6 news bulletin to consumers, the manufacturer said the upgrades were based on customer feedback.

“Listening to our customers has been a cornerstone of our approach to product development, and we are excited to announce an upgrade in our SEDEO PRO seating system’s power recline actuator,” the announcement said. “This robust actuator brings additional benefits that we are eager to share with you.”

Sunrise said the seating system now performs with “even smoother and more precise positioning, providing you with greater flexibility in the way you operate your power seating system.”

The manufacturer also described enhanced durability: “The upgraded actuator is designed for improved longevity, making it a reliable and long-lasting component of your wheelchair.”

The SEDEO PRO seating system offers 150 degrees of power recline; 30 or 50 degrees of posterior tilt; and 4 inches of anti-shear recline. It’s available in seat depths of 14 to 22 inches, and seat widths of 16 to 26 inches.

Sunrise added that the upgrade “is a testament to our commitment to quality and your well-being. By continuously improving our products, we hope to enhance your everyday life and make it even more comfortable and convenient.

“Our goal is to ensure that your QUICKIE power wheelchair provides you with the highest level of mobility and freedom possible. Thank you for choosing QUICKIE power wheelchairs. Together, we will continue to shape a more mobile and independent future.”
