Just in time for summer’s upcoming Paralympic Games, Sunrise Medical has launched the One Team. One Will program of global ambassadors.
The new team is made up of 39 elite athletes from around the world who participate in 14 different sports. The athletes use Quickie, RGK or Sopur equipment.
In a news announcement, the manufacturer said, “Sunrise Medical’s mission is to improve people’s lives, and supporting athletes with the best everyday wheelchairs and sports devices available is part of our DNA. The One Team. One Will program brings ambassadors together from around the world to share their experience and provide inspiration to others.”
The Ambassador Program’s home is www.team-sunrise.com, a site that includes athletes’ photos and stories. The sports represented are archery, basketball, boccia, fencing, handbiking, racing, rugby, sailing, shotput, swimming, table tennis, tennis and weightlifting.
