Sunrise Medical will now produce and distribute Magic Mobility power wheelchairs from its new Nashville, Tenn., facility.
In an Oct. 4 news announcement, Sunrise Medical added that its Nashville location will also distribute the Leckey pediatric line. QUICKIE power chairs will be assembled and shipped from the Nashville facility starting early next year.
Magic Mobility power chairs are best known for their outdoor and off-road capabilities, although the Frontier power chair line is designed for both indoor and outdoor use. Sunrise Medical’s Nashville facility will produce the Magic Mobility Extreme X8, Frontier V6, and Frontier V4 power chairs, starting “immediately,” according to the news announcement.
Previously, Magic Mobility power chairs were distributed in the United States by Innovation In Motion, headquartered in Angola, Ind. Magic Mobility is based in Australia.
