Symmetric Designs has added a new cover to its Savant line of head positioning and support.
Savant line provides posterior and anterior (via a low-profile headband) support for wheelchair users who require head positioning. High-lateral pads provide effective lateral flexion control, while mid-lateral pads are shaped to provide a comfortable fit behind the user’s ears. Sub-occipital pads provide extra support below the occiput, and the pads are filled with a soft silicone gel for a comfortable fit.
The Savant headrest, which attaches via standard three-point hardware, is easy to fit and can be shaped by hand. The pads are also easily reshaped by hand.
