Symmetric Designs Hires Cory Monks as U.S. National Sales Manager
Monks, an ATP, is a seating and wheeled mobility veteran.

Symmetric Designs has a new sales manager for the United States.

The seating and positioning company, based in Salt Spring Island, B.C., announced the appointment of Cory Monks, ATP, on Nov. 26.

“Cory will be instrumental in developing a U.S. national sales and support strategy for Symmetric to ensure our full line of products are competitively priced, marketed well and an appealing option for our U.S. network,” said Symmetric Designs CEO Sam Hannah.

“I’m thrilled to join Symmetric Designs as the U.S. national sales manager and help expand the reach of their innovative solutions across the U.S.,” Monks said in the announcement. “I’ve spent the past 14 years in the Complex Rehab Technology industry, having worked on both the manufacturing and provider sides of the industry. My experience includes roles with companies like Stealth Products, Permobil, AdaptHealth, and Rehab Medical. I’m passionate and excited about providing innovative seating and positioning solutions that truly improve people’s mobility and quality of life!”

Monks is based in San Antonio.

Symmetric Designs most recently announced new HCPCS coding for its Respira back support line, designed for breathability and microclimate management.
