TiLite Welcomes Garven, Walls

March 1, 2009 by Mobility Management

TiLite has added a pair of employees to its engineering & design and customer service teams.

Doug Garven, a rehab industry veteran and an end-user since 1989, has joined TiLite’s engineering team. In more than 16 years of industry experience, Garven has worked for Everest & Jennings, Invacare Europe and Quickie, and has consulted for companies such as Rock Shox and Johnson & Johnson. Garven earned his industrial design degree from Kent State University.

“Everyone at TiLite is thrilled to have Doug as part of our team,” says VP of Engineering Alan Ludovici. “His background in industrial design, combined with years of experience in developing high-end manual wheelchairs, made him the obvious choice to help create the next generation of TiLite chairs.”

TiLite has also hired Nancy Walls to its customer service crew. Walls has worked in the health-care industry for more than 27 years. Her experience includes working for medical equipment providers and spending eight years working in a Medicare claims office.

“Over the course of my career, I have worked for both large and small companies within the medical industry, doing everything from reviewing Medicare claims, to walk-in sales, to making home deliveries,” Walls notes. “My goal is to provide a convenience to our customers that will keep them coming back to TiLite as their first choice for custom manual mobility.”
