Complex Rehab Technology industry veteran Todd Walling has been named the president of Permobil Americas.

Walling, who previously served as senior vice president of sales for Permobil Americas, replaces Chuck Witkowski, who became Permobil’s CEO on July 1.

“With nearly two decades of transformative leadership at Permobil – including 10 years as SVP of sales – Todd has been a driving force behind our growth in the Americas,” Witkowski said in an Aug. 14 news announcement. “His deep industry expertise, unwavering passion and proven ability to build and inspire talented teams will help propel Permobil into an even brighter future. Todd isn’t just stepping into this role; he’s ready to help redefine what’s possible for our customers and end-users across the region.”

Walling began with Permobil as a sales support specialist in 2007. He went on to become a key accounts manager and a regional sales manager before becoming the senior vice president of sales for Permobil Americas in 2014.

Prior to joining Permobil, Walling worked at The MED Group and served as a technology consultant for Cardinal Health.

“I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to step into this role,” Walling said in the announcement. “Permobil has been a huge part of my life for a long time, and I see us continuing to evolve into the most innovative mobility solution manufacturer in the market. My priorities will be to ensure the voices of our end users and customers are heard and acted upon, and to further our mission by making Permobil the easiest company to work with. I’ve been part of the journey from a big, small company to a small, big company, and I’m proud of how far we’ve come.”
