For the Complex Rehab Technology sector, 2025 was a year defined less by sweeping reform than by incremental change – and by a steady push to modernize systems that have long lagged the pace of innovation.
Across the year, providers, manufacturers and clinicians grappled with familiar pressures, including reimbursement complexity, documentation requirements and operational disruptions tied to broader federal dysfunction. At the same time, advances in technology – from soft exoskeletons to 3D printing – hinted at a future in which customization, efficiency and user-centered design play a larger role.
On top of all that, the field saw conferences expand, research deepen understanding of core concepts and more.
The below list ranks the 10 most-read Mobility Management stories from 2025. A handful of stories from previous years continued to attract eyeballs, so we included those as “honorable mentions” as well.
