United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) has launched a new podcast called Life Without Limits.
The guest speaker for the inaugural episode, uploaded in early April, was Julie Ward, Senior Executive Officer for Public Policy for The Arc. The Arc is made of 600 state and local chapters that advocate for inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and also offer support services to people in the disabled community.
The UCP Life Without Limits podcast is hosted by James Garcia, who said the podcast’s mission is to share “news and trends about the disability community.”
Cerebral Palsy Alberta, a UCP Canadian affiliate, also recently launched a podcast series called My Life Without Limits. Co-hosted by Leah Ison (Cerebral Palsy Alberta’s Communications and Community Engagement Specialist) and Carlos Gonzalez (Cerebral Palsy Alberta’s Community Education Coordinator), the new podcast “will bring an honest perspective from the disability community.”
