Unique Store Helps Provide Independence for People with Disabilities

February 14, 2007 by Mobility Management

Rehability, a new 3,300-square-foot store that’s part of Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network, has opened up in Allentown, Pa., offering a wide array of services to assist people with disabilities.

With wheelchairs, accessible vacations for people with disabilities, and unique products like a talking clock for people with limited vision, the store features 2,000 specialty lifestyle products and a personalized shopping experience for people with disabilities.

Categories of products include recreation, wellness, communication, education, home and daily living, mobility, vision, clothing and children’s merchandise. The store’s staff includes two full-time therapy assistants who provide shoppers with expert clinical advice on product selection.

Rehability provides an upscale, boutique-like shopping experience for common and hard-to-find products that will help inspire life solutions, adaptation and new options.
