United Seating Acquires Rehab Specialties

July 18, 2011 by Laurie Watanabe

United Seating & Mobility (USM) has grown again – this time by acquiring Rehab Specialties (RSI) and thus expanding into the state of Texas.

“The addition of RSI anchors a new region for USM,” said Bob Gouy, CEO/president of USM in a news announcement, “and we are eager to expand and build on the success RSI has created in Texas. The staff and leadership at RSI really understand customer service. It has been key to their success in building a significant business, and it is very exciting to see how similar our company cultures are.”

Gouy added that RSI and USM “will continue to operate with the same team and leadership… Taymour Saleh and Robert Taylor have proven themselves to be exceptional leaders, building tremendously talented teams that deliver incredible service. It’s easy to see why RSI is considered one of the leading companies in the industry. We are confident this merger will allow them the resources and support to continue their success.”

USM (unitedseating.com) has offices in more than two dozen states.
