It’s not too late to submit your educational presentations for the 2011 International Seating Symposium; the University of Pittsburgh has extended its Call for Papers deadline to June 11.
Course Director Mark Schmeler, Ph.D., OTR/L, ATP, is calling for proposals for one- and two-hour instructional courses, papers and poster presentations.
The event will be held March 3-5 at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel & Convention Center in Nashville. While the property was affected by the severe flooding in the region at the end of April and into May, and the hotel is closed at this time, a bulletin sent out by the University of Pittsburgh last month said, “There is no concern that there will be any impact on the ISS for March 2011.”
