United Seating & Mobility (USM) has acquired The Rehab Specialist, a complex rehab technology provider business located in Raleigh, N.C.
The Rehab Specialist provides custom power and manual wheelchairs, plus seating & positioning equipment, scooters, ramps and lifts.
USM says The Rehab Specialist (therehabspecialist.com) will continue to serve clients in the Raleigh/Durham area.
“The addition of Dana Mazer, ATP, and his rehab team strengthens our position within a growth market for USM and supports our regional initiative in North Carolina,” said Bob Gouy, USM’s president/CEO. “We are delighted to welcome their quality rehab staff to the USM team and look forward to the opportunities this expansion brings.”
This acquisition brings USM’s (unitedseating.com) total number of locations to 52, in 24 states.
