VGM Heartland Announces Keynote Speaker

March 31, 2022 by Laurie Watanabe

The keynote speaker headlining VGM Heartland’s 2022 conference promises to bring a special kind of magic with him.

In a March 30 announcement, VGM & Associates said magician, comedian, and motivational speaker Devin Henderson will address attendees at the June 13-15 event in Waterloo, Iowa.

A professional entertainer, Henderson was invited to Hollywood to compete in the ninth season of the America’s Got Talent television show, but was eliminated after his audition. “The highest point of my career became the absolute lowest, just like that,” Henderson says on his Web site.

As a motivational speaker, Henderson now teaches about what he calls “the Possibility Mindset,” that he says, “asks what’s possible, and never stops asking.”

Jill Blaser, the Chair of the Heartland Conference, said in the news announcement, “Devin’s story of resilience is one that many of our HME leaders can identify with. When the going gets tough, the next best step can be to reinvent and reengage, just like Devin did.”

For more information on the conference, visit vgmheartland.com. Early-bird pricing and registration for VGM membership is available until April 15.
