VMI Launches Roadside Vehicle Assistance Support

June 12, 2019 by Laurie Watanabe

Owners of accessible vehicles from Vantage Mobility International (VMI), AMS Vans or Rev Mobility can now take along a little extra peace of mind when they hit the road.

In a June 4 news announcement, VMI said it is partnering with Mobility Roadside Assistance (MRA) and Wrench Inc. to offer roadside assistance.

The program has two parts. Wrench Inc. will dispatch certified technicians to provide service and repair work to the vehicle, while

MRA will assist the driver and passengers with paratransit service to a safe location.

MRA can also help with automotive troubleshooting, and service for the vehicle’s ramp or lift. VMI is providing one year of complimentary roadside assistance to customers buying a new or used VMI, AMS Vans or Rev Mobility vehicle. The VMI Assurance program launches in July.

Mark Shaughnessy, VMI’s CEO, said, “This partnership furthers VMI’s commitment to empower people with disabilities by giving them more options and greater confidence to live an independent lifestyle. When our customers purchase an accessible vehicle from VMI, AMS Vans or Revability, we want [them] to feel assured that we will do everything possible to provide the best ownership experience for many years to come.”
