W.B. Mick Named TiLite Business Unit GM

May 31, 2017 by Laurie Watanabe

Complex rehab industry veteran W.B. Mick has been named the new general manager of the TiLite business unit, according to a news announcement from Permobil.

Larry Jackson, president of Permobil’s Americas business region, said in the announcement, “I have complete confidence that Mick is the right person to be our General Manager of Business Unit Manual. His 34 years of industry experience have been marked by outstanding performance. Mick has demonstrated remarkable talent and sound judgment in everything he does.”

Mick most recently was Numotion’s director of business development. In that role, he developed strategic sales initiatives, and was responsible for the provider’s lobbying and legislative concerns and consumer outreach. During his Numotion tenure, Mick also managed regional sales and operations.

But his new GM position is a homecoming.

“I always respected Larry’s vision and leadership, and I am excited to work for him at the world’s most innovative manual wheelchair manufacturer,” Mick said in the announcement. “Larry will continue to be a guiding force for me and Business Unit Manual. I am thrilled to be returning to Permobil.”

Mick starts as GM on June 12. Jackson will also continue to be directly involved in the manual wheelchair business unit.
