FR Conversions’ Toyota Sienna hybrid Long Cut
FR Conversions has achieved Manufacturer Quality Assurance Program (MQAP) certification from the National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association.
The Westminster, Maryland-based manufacturer performs vehicle conversions for wheelchair-accessible minivans, ambulances and commercial mobility fleets.
“MQAP certification reflects FR Conversions’ documented quality systems, compliance with applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, and ongoing commitment to supporting NMEDA-certified dealers and the customers they serve,” the company said in a Feb. 11 news announcement. “The program requires manufacturers to meet comprehensive criteria, including annual third-party audits, documented training programs, warranty and service network requirements, and demonstrated adherence to safety and quality best practices.”
FR Conversions also announced dealer-focused initiatives “to simplify operations, improve access to inventory and capital and support long-term dealer growth.” The company launched stocking package programs “for select mobility vehicles, enabling faster access to ready-to-sell inventory” and is offering “floor plan financing options through participating finance partners to support dealer cash flow and flexibility.”
FR Access, a centralized dealer portal, has been designed to provide real-time inventory visibility, streamlined warranty submissions and marketing resources, while the FR Drive Rewards program was created “to strengthen dealer engagement and performance.”
“These new offerings were created based on direct feedback and conversations with our dealer network,” said Matt Swope, vice president of retail mobility at FR Conversions. “MQAP certification complements this work by reinforcing the systems, consistency and accountability dealers need from a manufacturing partner. Together, the goal of these programs is to make it easier for NMEDA dealers to do business with FR and to grow their retail mobility business with confidence.”
FR Conversions’ models include rear-entry Toyota Sienna and Chrysler Pacifica/Voyager minivans; side-entry Pacifica/Voyager minivans; and rear-entry Sienna hybrid minivans.
